Summer fun starts June 15th!

 Bag Charms

June 16 - 18 from 9AM to 12PM

Ages preteen through adult. Three 3 hour sessions.

Skills taught: Intro to bead making with Sculpey, create charms with shrink plastic and coat with resin, then learn how to assemble the pieces using jewelry making techniques and hardware. Transfer techniques and stencils will be available for charms.

Patriotic Flip Flops 

June 22 from 9AM to 12PM

Ages preteen to adult. One 3 hour session.

Skills taught: Selecting, measuring and cutting fabric, then attaching each piece onto a pair of flip flops. Beads and buttons provided for those who want to embellish further.

Charm Bracelet

July 7-10 from 9AM to 12PM

Ages preteen through adult. Four 3 hour classes.

Skills taught: Students will make a Kumihimo wheel loom and learn how to weave a round braid. Next they will be taught how to make beads with Sculpey clay, while focusing on patterns and texture. The class will make charms using shrink plastic and coat them in resin. Once pieces are completed the students will 

Batik Drawstring Bag

June 23 & 24 from 9AM to 12PM

Ages preteen through adult. Two 3 hour classes.

Skills taught: Students will learn how to transfer a ready made design, apply a resist, then add color to their batik project.

Junk Bag

July 13-17 from 9AM to 12PM

Ages teen through adult. 

One of my personal favorite classes! students learn how to create four different types of patches, as well as learning how to transfer hand drawn designs to fabric. They will try different types of fabric paints and embellish their bags with buttons, beads and other trinkets.
